The 2014 Nissan Leaf marks another step in the right direction for the 100 percent electric vehicle. This year's model offers an increased range of nearly 15 percent over last year's model. It'll get you an estimated 75 miles before needing a charge depending on your driving speed and conditions. Then, just a 30 minute "quick charge" gets the Leaf's power back to 80 percent.

The2014 Leaf is the car for you only if you'd like to save some time and cash at the gas pump. In other words, it's for everyone.

Not convinced yet? Well, maybe you want to be like George and join the growing community of Americans driving electrically powered vehicles. Check out George's story in the video below.

Pretty cool, right? We think so, too. At Lithia Nissan of Ames, we simply love Nissan's commitment to building fuel-efficient vehicles that provide value to our customers. Could you see yourself in a Nissan Leaf? Let us know in the comments below!
