Lithia Nissan of Ames has some tips that we would like to share with you when it comes to the amount of tread on your tires and the pressure inside of your tires.
- Tires should be wearing down at the same rate. If one tire seems lower than the other, bring your vehicle in for an inspection. There could be a problem with your suspension or the alignment of your vehicle.
- Don't rely too heavily on your tire pressure monitoring system. Check your tires regularly to make sure the proper amount of pressure is in there.
- Don't overfill your tires to compensate for cold weather or loss of air. Too much air in your tires can lead to your tire blowing out. Too little air in your tires can put you at risk of a flat tire.
