It has been quite a while since we've posted a Nissan sales update to our blog, but that isn't to say that the Japanese automaker hasn't been successful. In fact, the brand has been extremely busy with the redesign of many new models and the release of new concepts and technology.
Kicking off the new year last month, the brand achieved the sales of 81,472 new Nissan models in the U.S., which is a 10.4 percent increase over the previous January.

January 2014 Nissan Model Sales by the Numbers:
- The Rogue set a record for the month of January thanks to the sales of 13,831 models, reflecting a gain of 54.5 percent
- The all-electric LEAF also set a January record with 1,252 models sold for an increase of 92.6 percent
- Also establishing a sales record last month was the Juke with 3,442 units sold for a gain of 45.8 percent
- Sales of the Altima sedan totaled 22,515 models, reflecting an increase of 4.9 percent while Sentra sales were up by 1.6 percent with 9,127 units
