Nissan Develops New Skill for Amazon Alexa

In early October, Nissan reported that the company had created a new skill for the Amazon Alexa cloud-based voice service that allows some Nissan owners a new way to interact with and control their vehicle. The skill, which is called "NissanConnect Services," is offered free of charge in the connected car category of the Amazon Skills Store.

Nissan Employees Build Habitat for Humanity House

Since 2006, employees from the Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Canton, Mississippi have united with Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area to build affordable and sustainable homes for local residents. This year hundreds of employee volunteers are participating in an eight-day build in the Richard Circle neighborhood for Canton resident Mildred Daughtery and her son.
