The first car to wear the Maxima name was introduced in 1980. Since then the Nissan Maxima has undergone one redesign after the next--but none quite as radiant as what Nissan has in store for us in the coming months. Nissan continued to give us quick glimpses of the 2016 Nissan Maxima; however, it wasn't until most recently that we got a feel for what the latest generation is all about.

Perhaps it's better-suited if we refer to this sedan as a "four-door sports car" because the 2016 Nissan Maxima is packed with more power and sportier handling. Courtesy of its 300 horsepower engine and new transmission, featuring D-Step shifting logic, the only thing more attractive than the Nissan Maxima sitting on our Ames lot, is the way it looks at top-speeds.

See adventure around every turn and look good while doing it with the 2016 Nissan Maxima. And while its impressive design isn't available to test drive just yet, we at Lithia Nissan of Ames recommend you freshen-up the set of wheels you have in the meantime with the body shop, serving the greater Des Moines region.
