With nameplates like the new Nissan LEAF and the upcoming 2023 Nissan ARIYA, the Nissan brand is on incredibly competitive footing in the electric vehicle market. And with a fresh investment in its Mississippi production facility, Nissan is rededicating itself to EV success, planning for two new nameplates to be produced at that facility.

Now, we don't yet know what form these new EVs will take, but with over $500 million invested in Nissan's Canton facility to produce them, it's safe to say that we're in for something truly impressive. Nissan already produces many of its most popular conventionally powered models at the facility, including the Nissan Altima, so it's production capacity is about to expand significantly.
